Initial Care Of Your New Floor
  • Coating will dry within 24 hours.
    		•
  • You should wait at least 48 hours after final coat before walking on the floor.
    		•
  • Coating takes approximately 10 - 14 days to fully harden in which time care should be taken.
    		•
  • Soft shoes should be worn for the first 14 days. Example: Runners or slippers.
    		•
  • Furniture may be replaced after 40 hours.
    		•
  • Avoid dragging furniture over floor or wheeling on castors at any time as this will scuff, scratch or gouge the floor.
    		•
  • All furniture must be lifted into place
    		•
  • Heavy furniture such as fridges, pianos, large cabinets etc. should be wheeled over sheets of masonite or ply to protect the floor.
    		•
  • Trolleys with rubber wheels should be wheeled over drop sheets.

    		•
  • Wait two weeks before placing mats on the floor.
    		•
  • Protective felt pads should be used on the bottom of furniture legs to avoid scratching the surface.
